Downtown Road Construction to Begin Next Week

The City of Quincy has announced that major road construction will begin on Main Street starting Monday, January 20th. The project, expected to last approximately six weeks, will include resurfacing, new sidewalks, and improved drainage systems. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes during peak construction hours from 7 AM to 5 PM. Local businesses will remain open with access available from side streets. "We apologize for any inconvenience, but these improvements are essential for our community's infrastructure," said Mayor Johnson.
